I started flying because I think clouds are beautiful! I obtained my PPL in 2022 at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport then continued my instrument rating through MEI at the United Aviate Academy in Phoenix. After graduating I moved back to Colorado to teach multi and am now enjoying the warmer weather along the California coast. All of my flight training has only been made possible thanks to the generosity of scholarships from the AOPA, NGPA, and PAPA. As a first generation aviator I’m a huge proponent of mentorship and getting involved in these organizations, as such I currently serve as the Women’s Committee Chair for the NGPA to give back to the community that helped me get on my feet.
My favorite kind of flying is “fun” flying, I thoroughly enjoy General Aviation and am always looking for new planes and places to check out. I’ve visited the dirt strips of Arizona doing my tailwheel in a Supercub, wandered through the Alaskan frontier in a seaplane, and learned to harness lift above the Rocky Mountains in a glider. I particularly love mountain flying and have seen some of the best sunsets of my life descending under the snow capped peaks of Colorado and Wyoming.
I love instructing because I get to share how fun and rewarding flying is! There isn’t a better view in the world than from the flight deck.
