I spent my entire childhood looking at the sky at the airplanes flying overhead. I had a fear of heights, so I never thought I would be able to be a pilot. Then, during my junior year of high school, I took a discovery flight and immediately caught the flying bug. Throughout the rest of high school, I flew whenever I had time, between work, sports, and school. After high school, I went to Southeast Missouri State University, where I got all my ratings. I worked as an instructor there for a while, and then relocated to St. Louis, MO, where I continued to instruct while working in aeronautical charting. I really enjoy instructing because I get to help the next generation of pilots become the best, safest pilots they can be, and to spread passion for aviation and flying.
