Growing up, I was told the sky was the limit, but for me, it has always felt like home. Aviation has been my lifelong passion, though my journey to becoming a pilot was not a traditional one. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of five, and faced challenges that stood between me and my dream of flying.
In 2021, I was hired by JetBlue Airways as a flight attendant. I finally had my head in the clouds and felt incredibly fulfilled, but my dream of becoming a pilot never faded. Soon after I began flying as a flight attendant, the FAA updated its medical certification policy, making my dream of becoming a pilot possible.
I took my first discovery flight at Camarillo Flight Instruction in August 2022, and that day confirmed everything I already knew, I was meant to fly. After more than a year of gathering medical documentation, evaluations, and completing the certification process, I was issued my First Class Medical Certificate in July 2024 and officially began flight training the following month. I completed all my flight training at Camarillo Flight Instruction and I am excited to join the amazing team of instructors here at CFI.
Today, as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII), I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, develop safe flying habits, and achieve their aviation goals. I believe every pilot’s journey is unique, and I’m excited to share my love of flying while encouraging others to pursue their dreams — no matter the obstacles. Whether you’re taking your very first lesson or working toward your next rating, I’m excited to be part of your journey.
Let’s go flying!
