A good friend gave me an EAA Young Eagles flight when I was 13, and I was instantly hooked on aviation. In high school, I spent time building Van’s Aircraft RV-12 airplanes and taking trips to AirVenture-Oshkosh with TeenFlight in Oregon. I flew whenever I could until I obtained a private pilot license at 17. I went on to study mechanical/aerospace engineering, graduated from the University of Arizona, and became an airframe design engineer. I learned so much from these supportive programs and mentors, and I hope to give back to others in a similar way. After completing my flight training in southern CA, I am excited to share my technical background and aviation experience with you. My favorite part of flight instructing is seeing students succeed while helping them achieve their goals. It’s great to be here at CFI – I look forward to flying with you!
