I came across aviation a bit later in my life. It has certainly been an unexpected journey. After leaving the Marine Corps in 2019, I went back to school to pursue a future in the medical field. While taking classes in Seattle to qualify for medical school, I worked various delivery jobs to pay the rent. One winter’s night while taking out the trash behind the pizza shop where I worked, I looked up and saw a Cessna flying across the sky. It was a defining moment. A few months later I began flight training. I completed the majority of my training in Arlington, TX and Long Beach, CA. For the past year I’ve been instructing in Camarillo. Becoming a pilot can be a challenging process, but it is also rewarding. I am excited to further grow as a pilot and to pass on what I’ve learned to those who desire to fly.
